Hatfield Place Wedding - Simone + Adam
Simone and Adam’s wedding at Hatfield Place was a relaxed, joyful day full of natural moments. As a Suffolk and Essex wedding photographer, my goal was simple: capture the celebration as it unfolded, with a focus on family, friends, and the couple themselves.
A Day That Felt Effortless
From the start, Simone and Adam’s approach made photographing their day easy. They are laid-back and personable, which meant everyone around them was relaxed too. Rather than posing for every shot, the focus was on genuine interactions, laughter, hugs, and candid moments that really tell the story of the day.
Attention to Detail
Hatfield Place provides a beautiful backdrop for weddings without needing much extra styling. The flowers from Emma’s Florist complemented the venue perfectly, and the catering from S and K Hospitality kept guests well looked-after throughout the day. These small details add to the overall atmosphere without ever feeling staged.
Evening Entertainment
The evening featured a garage band set and a lively dance floor with glow sticks, creating some of the most memorable images of the day. Capturing these moments is one of the reasons I love photographing weddings at Hatfield Place, the space works well for both daytime photography and the energy of evening celebrations.
Why Hatfield Place is a Great Choice for Essex Weddings
From a photography perspective, Hatfield Place is an excellent venue. The staff are professional and helpful, the spaces are flexible for both formal portraits and candid shots, and the venue itself is visually appealing. It’s no surprise that it’s become one of my favourite venues in Essex for weddings.
Capturing the Day as it Happened
I focus on storytelling through images. Simone and Adam’s wedding was a reminder that the best photographs often come from relaxed, natural moments rather than forced posing. Their positive energy and connection with family and friends made my job easy, and the resulting photos reflect that.
