BEHIND the CAMERA

Hey there, I’m Helen, a wedding photographer based in Suffolk but I love to travel and shoot weddings wherever they take me! The most important thing to me is that you like my style and feel comfortable with me since I’ll be with you for most of the day!! I focus on capturing your day in a natural, storytelling way, while also getting some beautiful creative shots. If you’d rather spend more time enjoying your wedding with your partner and guests than posing for photos, I’m the right fit for you.

My photography journey started back in 2011 when I got my first DSLR camera as a birthday gift. What began as snapping random photos quickly turned into a full-on passion.

I started out photographing families, then moved on to second-shooting weddings to learn the ropes before launching my own business. What I love most about this job is meeting people from all walks of life. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to have made some great friends through my work.

One of the nicest compliments I get is when guests ask if I’m a friend of the couples as I seem to fit in with everyone so well!! I’m also often invited back to shoot weddings for other family members and friends too. This makes me very happy!!!

I’ve yet to meet a couple who say they really love having their photos taken. But I do ALWAYS have feedback afterwards about how at ease I made them feel and how they actually really enjoyed it!!

When it’s time to guide you and your guests, don’t worry, I’ll keep it quick and simple, and make sure it’s as easy as possible.
