Stunning Suffolk Countryside Marquee Wedding - Hannah + Matt

From the moment I met Hannah and Matt at their friends’ wedding two years ago and they told me they were engaged, I knew I would love photographing their wedding day. And wow, what an unforgettable Suffolk wedding it was.

As a Suffolk wedding photographer, I often find myself getting emotional at weddings, and it’s usually during the speeches. Hannah’s stepdad’s speech had me properly tearing up, hiding behind my camera and hoping no one noticed! These are the moments I love most, real, heartfelt, and completely genuine.

Hannah and Matt were clear that they didn’t want lots of posed couple photos, which suited their relaxed wedding day perfectly. I always follow the brief my couples give me, and days like this are exactly why I love natural, documentary-style wedding photography. The morning was calm, organised, and full of excitement, the perfect start to the day.

Their ceremony at the beautiful Hawkedon Church in Suffolk was absolutely gorgeous. This historic countryside church provided such a romantic setting, and it was a joy to photograph. The celebrations then continued with a stunning Suffolk countryside wedding reception in Kedington, surrounded by rolling landscapes and their closest friends and family.

And the party? Exactly what you’d expect — EPIC. The dancefloor was full, the energy was high, and if I didn’t have to head home to back up photos (and get some sleep!), I’d have happily stayed all night with a glass of wine dancing alongside everyone.
