Beautiful Woodhall Manor Wedding | Jessy & Sam

Jessy and Sam married at the beautiful Woodhall Manor, and it was such a special day to be part of.

I first met these two back in 2024 when I photographed Sam's sister's wedding, so when they got in touch to ask if I was available for their own wedding, I felt incredibly honoured. One of the nicest parts of this job is being invited back to photograph the same families, and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces again.

Their wedding day came with a little unexpected drama. After a random overnight frost the night before – yes, only a few weeks ago! – there was genuine uncertainty throughout the morning about whether the outdoor ceremony would be able to go ahead. Apparently, ceremonies aren't allowed outside if the temperature drops below 16 degrees, which was a new one for me!

Thankfully, the weather played ball and everything went ahead as planned in Woodhall Manor's gorgeous walled garden. It couldn't have been a more perfect setting for their ceremony, surrounded by family, friends and spring sunshine.

Woodhall Manor is always a dream venue to photograph. There are so many beautiful spots tucked away around the grounds, and the drinks reception on the lawn offers such a stunning backdrop for guests to relax and celebrate. From the elegant gardens to the character-filled manor house itself, every corner of the venue provides opportunities for beautiful, natural photographs.

Jessy and Sam, thank you both so much for having me there to capture your wedding day. It was so lovely to see you again and spend time with your families once more. I wish you both every happiness for the future.
